Bird Materials
Indigenous peoples have deep connections with birds, which is evident by the feathers that we use in our ceremonies and on our regalia as well as birds as clan animals and in our stories. There is a lot we can learn from our bird relatives, and learning how they live and communicate can also help us understand the ecosystems around us better. The activities are aimed at helping you to build respectful relationships with birds largely through noticing them and how they live in their natural habitats.
